AIR
Watering the Seeds
Potentiality
Please listen to this AIR transmission
~ Invitation ~
This time is an opportunity to dance with the threshold. To tentatively play in the liminal realms with one foot in winter and one toe of the other foot peeking out to feel the stirrings. Like the seed you are beginning to crack open from the protective shell and invite more expansion and possibility.
SEASON
Mutable sensitive, creative and mystic water sign, Piscies. This sign is emotionally connected. As a mutable sign this is all about being open to change. Ruled by Jupiter it is here to expand our horizons. As the twelfth and final sign of the wheel of the zodiac this sign denotes endings and in the cyclical nature of life new beginnings. This is Water that clears and dissolves. A cleansing and renewal. This season wants to advise us to drop into our emotional bodies and swim in our intuitive nature. This is the season that after a long winter, it can potentially make us feel like we are treading water or completely water logged. It pushes against our need to strive forward confidently and asks us to examine everything through a softer lens.
MOON
We are between two moon signs on the first quarter. Taurus Moon taps our subconscious on the shoulder and asks us to consider how we will bring something about in actuality. And Gemini whips up those earthings into the air realms again and has us feeling into the Gemini air realms of ‘this way or that way. With Piscies season in its watery dissolving nature, Mercury retrograde incoming and a little way to go before the Spring Equinox rebirth its fair to say that things can feel ungraspable. This is the ‘trust the journey’ moment - and it can be really hard to do that. Keep breathing and being present with all that is.
SUN
The waxing moon is reflecting the Sun in Piscies with half of its full power illuminating the surface - what insights are growing from where you find yourself? What is culminating toward the full moon?
ALTAR
This is a good time to energetically clean your home and consider what spaces need to be renewed in their energy before the Spring.
EMBODIMENT PRACTICE
Keep moving as the seed - continuing this movement exploration
Curl up into a ball on the floor. Notice your body and the subtleties that you may not have been fathoming from the dizzy heights of your head. Sense the weight of yourself and the weight of gravity pulling on you. Down comes before up. Stay here - don’t move until you can be sure that impetus to move is coming from your body and not from your mind. Relinquish as far as possible to what your body is asking. Does it want to stay a little longer? Does it want to move achingly slowly from a strange place? Can you follow the current of the tide of your core - the central cerebral spine. Allow a movement practice to grow from within you - refreshing, new and unusual
JOURNAL
What needs to be reimagined in the earth realms - is there a new way that something needs to be conceived? (Look out for signs and keep open to conversations that offer clues as to how you might push through any blocks to fully bringing something through). Remember not to make major decisions in Mercury Retrograde as they could unravel quickly when it goes direct again.
FOLK HERBALISM WITH PLANT KIN
Winter stagnancy coupled with the upward stirrings can feel like the hardest transition in the wheel of the year for our weary bodies. With fresh spring Nettle arising and tiny cleavers coming up we know exactly where we need to look to begin our spring cleansing. Nettle has an affinity to Fire and will really help to awaken our systems and cleanse our blood as well as packing a nutritional punch to any depletion. Cleavers balance Nettle well in their water element affinity. Cleavers tiny hooks will claw away the old debris in our system and support motility in our digestive systems. They will shift stagnancy quickly but they are very diuretic so use with caution and make sure you drink plenty of water to counteract the effect
In folk herbalism Snowdrop is used to treat pain, headaches and migraines. They also contain an alkaloid which is used in the management of Alzheimers. They are reminders - beacons of hope. Tender thought they may seem - they are strong, hardy and resilient. They tend to cluster in small groups, like little families. Their tender, fragile, yet strong essence remind us to stay the distance. Like little lanterns they transform from the dark earth and denote the fertile journey we did not see beneath the surface
INCANTATION
“I trust the universe as it reweaves the path”
We will wax our way to the Full moon portal on the next phase
