WATER
In the direction of the West we surrender to the elemental power of water in the waning cycle of the moon. After stoking the Fire we surrender to the alchemy that is born by combining these elemental forces. We invite the intention to purify, clear and soften ~ releasing what has been shown to us in the apex of the moon cycle.

Air that dredges deep waters
We continue to flow with the final winter waters. We are seeing out this waning moon cycle - the final one in the year of the wood snake - before we enter the fire horse in 8 days. Can you feel it? This is the time to truly lean into the energies of releasing the old and clearing so that we are prepared for the new cycle and its perspective that will carry us forward.
Astrological Significance
Fixed Air ruled by Saturn and Uranus and Fixed Water ruled by Pluto - this is an intense pairing - especially if you have powerful placements in Scorpio (note Pluto Rx Scorpio as one of the hardest personal natal placements to work with). When the moon moved into Scorpio just before this last quarter I have no doubt the weekend had intensity, revelations of truth, a desire for absolute truth - bringing hidden depths to the surface for reckoning. A deep emotional current meeting a desire for new vision and transformation!

The time of the Wise Westerly Waters is for Release. Deep rest is essential. Presence is key.

You are worthy of rest and gentleness. Your tender soul has more to travel before the year begins anew in the Spring. Much like birth, we must remember it’s a continuum of becoming - not a fixed point. For those of us who bleed - we have multiple winters in the year to recreate replenishment and wise care. This week stay present with the waning to continue to allow the waters of release and grief to flow, cleansing and renewing you.

A time of soul gardening. Listen and you will hear these kin calling to be heard. Calling to assist in the support of humanity returning to kinship. You may want to plan to seed some to be close by and to gently tend to them until they are ready to grow it alone. Prepare the soil for planting
